Violinkonzert [antikvár]

Beethovens Violinkonzert entstand im Jahre 1806 und ist seinemjugend-freund Stephan v. Breun ing gewidmet. Das in der Wiener Natlo-nalbibliothek befindliche Auto-graph trägt eine andere, scherzhaft gefaßte Widmung, nämlich an den Geiger Franz Clenient, der das Konzert am 23. Dezember 1806 zum erstenmal öffentlich spielte: »Concerto par clemenza pour Clement, primo Violine e direttore al theatro di Vienna.« 1808 erschien eine von Beethoven selbst herrührende Bearbeitung als Klavierkonzert im Wiener Kunst- und Industrie-Verlag, im folgenden Jahre erst die Originalfassung. Anfangs von den Geigern als unspielbar erklärt, eroberte sich das Werk erst ganz allmählich seine einzig dastehende Geltung in der Violinliteratur. formübersicht 1. The autograph of the Concerto, embodied in the Austrian National Library, is dedicated however to Franz Clement, the violinist who gave the first public performance of the Concerto on December 23, 1806. This manuscript bears the following jocular inscription: » Concerto par clemenza pour Clement, primo violiiio e diretiore al theatro di Vienna«. The Wiener Kunst-und- Industrie-Verlag published the work in 1808 as a Piano Concerto in an arrangement made by Beethoven liimself, and the original version was not published until the following year. L'autographe qui so trouve a la bibliotheque nationale de Vienne porte une autre dédicace humoristique au violoniste Franz Clement, qui joua le concerto le 23 décembre 1806 pour la premiere fois en public: »Concerto par clemenza pour Clement, primo violino e direttore al theatro di Vienna. € Dans le »Wiener Kunst- und Industrie-Verlag« parut en 1808 une transcription pour piano, écrite par Beethoven lui-meme ; l'original ne fut publié que l'année suivante.
