In the heart of the old quarter In Hanoi is a small shop hidden away In Hang Bac Street. Inside, away from the hustle and bustle of the street, is an Aladdin's cave of old propaganda posters dating from the I9B0s to the present day. Mrs Hanh, the owner, Is a neat, matter-of-fact Vietnamese woman, who still has connections to many of the artists who painted the originals which hang on the walls of the gallery. When I first stumbled across the shop, It was deserted, dusty and many of the posters were tucked away, piled high on top of each other. Some of the best examples were framed on the wall.
