Richard J. Brickstock (RJB) teaches archaeology and ancient history at the University of Durham and is Curator of the university's Museum of Archaeology. His primary research interest is the coinage of the Roman Empire.
Roger Brock (RB) is a Lecturer in Classics at the University of Leeds, with a particular interest in Greek history and historiography.
George Cawkwell (GLC) is an Emeritus Fellow of University College, Oxford, where he has tutored in ancient history since 1949. His special interest is Greek history of the pre-Hellenistic period.
Tim Cornell (TC) is Senior Lecturer in History at University College London. Sometime Assistant Director of the British School at Rome, he works on the history of ancient Italy and the Roman Republic.
Hugh Elton (HE) is Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Rice University, Texas. His particular interest is the history of the late Roman Empire.
James Longrigg (JL) is Senior Lecturer in Classics at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. His primary research interests are in ancient philosophy and science, and he is author of a recent study of Greek rational medicine.
David Freest (DP) taught classics at the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle upon Tyne, and at Highgate School. He now works in the Education Centre at St Alban's Abbey.
