PREFACE
In 1991 The Northumbrian Centre of Prayer for Christian Healing was established at our home to be a safe place for people to come and meet with the only one we can fiilly trust, our Lord Jesus. He is the one who can bring us into true healing and wholeness. Although we did not realize it when we bought the house, its name, 'Beggars Roost', has very special significance. A beggar is someone who is beyond his own resources —like those who are sick and are seeking healing. There are so many people today who are in need of healing and many who are desolate, lonely, with no hope, no opportunities, nowhere to go, no-one they feel they can trust.
