THE FAILURE OF FRIENDS I had hoped that among my friends at Longfellow High' there would have been a number to remember® my" not inconsiderable fame during the semester I was there, but having found,^ after thirty years, that , my friends have died, moved away or forgotten Longfellow High I have decided to remember this fame for myself.
