POCKET BUYERS' GUIDE 2001: Materials, packaging and complements Dear readers, thisfifth edition ofthe Itatialmbatlaggio Buyers' Guide offers a seríes of new features compared to the past. Aboveatl, from this year the Guide "doubles" into two separate publications, respectivety dedicated to "Materials, packaging and complements" (the issue at hand) and "Machines, accessoríes and components" (the issue scheduled to come out in the Autumn) with the objective offocusing information on the basis of the different types of readers. Secondly, from now on the Buyer's Guide will no longer be linked to a specificfair event - as was the case at Interpack, in 1996 and 1999, and Ipack-Ima, in 1997 and in the year 2000 but rather they will become products with their own independent existence, this on paper and on the Internet. Meeting markét demands, we have in fact decided to create two publications that atyearly intervals, are capable of giving clear, useful and usable information on the main sector protagonists, that can be distríbuted both attached to the magaziné Italialmballaggio as weil as at all the sector fairs, where we will be present with our stand. As weil as that we have alsó programmed to make all the information gathered on each company and its products (complete rangé and new features) available on Internet, turning the Buyer's Guide into a dynamic tool undergoing continuous development, to be consulted each time updated information is required and one wants to activate an ejficient channel of contact with the world of production (www. italiaimballaggio. it). POCKET BUYERS' GUIDE 2001: Materiali, imballaggi e complementi Cari lettori, questa quinta edizione delLa Buyers' Guide di Italialmballaggio propone diversi elementi di novitá, rispetto al passato. Innanzitutto, da quest'anno la Guida si "sdoppia" in due fascicoli separati, rispettivamente dedicati a "Materiali, imballaggi e complementi" (quello attuale) e a "Macchine, accessori e componenti" (la cui uscita é programmata per l'autunno) con l'obiettivo di focalizzare l'informazione sulla base delle diverse tipologie dei lettori. In secondo luogo, d'ora in poi, le Buyers' Guide non sono piü correlate a uno specifico momento fieristico - cosi come é stato per Interpack, nel 1996 e nel 1999, e Ipack-Ima, nel 1997 e nel 2000 -, bensi diventano prodotti con una propria vita autonoma, su carta e su Internet. Accogliendo le richieste del mercato, abbiamo infatti deciso di realizzare due pubblicazioni che, con cadenza annuale, siano in grado di rendere in modo chiaro un'informazione utile e utilizzabile sui principali protagonisti del settore, e che possano essere distribuite sia in allegato aLla rivista Italialmballaggio sia a tutte le fiere di settore, a cui parteciperemo con un nostro stand. Inoltre abbiamo programmato di rendere tutte le informazioni raccolte su ciascuna azienda e i suoi prodotti (gamma completa e novitá) anche su Internet, facendo delle Buyers'Guide uno strumento dinamico e in continua evoluzione, da consultare ogni qualvolta si desideri un'informazione aggiornata e si voglia attivare un canale efficiente di contatto con il mondo della produzione (www.italiaimballaggio.it).
