PREFACE The purpose of this lexicon is to provide a convenient reference for ali those involved or interested in the microcomputer field. The first section presents ali the key acronyms and définitions. The Signais sections present the définitions of signais in the main standards ((RS232, IEEE 488, S100). The Numbers section presents a comprehensive cross-reference defining the function of essential chips used in microprocessor systems. The Manufacturers section lists addresses of important microprocessor and microcomputer manufacturers. Like ali such works, a lexicon grows in time to incorporate more and more information. The authors will be grateful for suggested improvements and additions.
