The second character gives the levet. In tests wrítten for standard textbooks this is a number between 0 and 9 and shows the absolute level of testing which may coincide with the entrance level of a particular term or semester. In test booklets on specific subjects and in test companions of varíous books, however, the second character of the Catalogue Nr. or Test Nr. is a letter (A, B, C etc.) and only refers to the suggested order of completion of these booklets. The third character of every Test Nr. or Catalogue Nr. denotes the particular skill or subject that particular test or test bookiet concentrates on (6 for grammar, F for function, V for vocabulary, R for reading comprehension, S for reading speed, M for míxed tests etc.).We do encourage everybody to try to do the testing with the help of CATS (Computer Aided Testing System, developed at LOGOS Language School, Hungary).
