Elsevier's Dictionary of Electronics and Waveguides [antikvár]

PREFACE This second edition of the six-language Dictionary of Electronics and Waveguides has been considerably extended and thoroughly revised. The extended scope reflects the phenomenal developments which have taken place in the techniques for use and application of semiconductor and transistor devices. Every effort has been made to increase the number of terms relating to electron physics, especially in the fields of nuclear energy and astronautics A more detailed classification system has been introduced. It is the author's hope that this will facilitate reference to entries in the dictionary. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those people who have so generously given their cooperation. A special word of appreciation is owed to my collaborators in Italy who assisted me so admirably during visits to Romé and Agrate/Milan.
