CONTRIBUTORS
DUNCAN ANDERSON is Head of Department of War Studies at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He has a Master's in War Studies from Queen's University Ontario and a doctorate in History from the University of Oxford. An Australian by birth, he has researched various aspects of the war in the Pacific and contributed to several books on the subject.
IAN BECKETT is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and formerly Senior Lecturer in War Studies at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was born at Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire and educated at Aylesbury Grammar School and the Universities of Lancaster and London. He is the author of a number of books, including The Great War (2001), General Editor of the Manchester University Press War, Armed Forces and Society series and editor of the Oxford History of the British Army.
BRIAN BOND was educated at Worcester College, Oxford and lecuired in history at Exeter and Liverpool Universities (1961-6). Since then he has taught in the Department of War Studies at King's
