Basic EU Legislation on Financial Control II. [antikvár]

Foreword In May 2000 our booklet titled 'Basic EU Legislation on Financial Control' was published both in English and Hungarian which made known the main legislation of the subject. The intention of publishing this new volume containing more legislation connected with financial control was already indicated in the foreword of the previous booklet. According to the present practice, the Community legislation - accepted before previous accessions translated to the official language of the accession country - is considered official and authentic similarly to the legislation published on the other official languages. Thus the Commission and the Council need to approve the translations prepared by the accession country which are published in the Official Journal of the European Union at the time of accession. After the accession only the Translation and Legal Services of the Commission and Council are responsible for the translations of the Community legislation. The Hungarian language, the official language of Hungary will also be the working and official language of the European Union at the time of accession. Up to the day of the first publication of the Hungarian version of the Official Journal, the Hungarian translations of the Community legislation is published in accordance with the translations prepared on the behalf of the Ministry of Justice.
