Bővebb ismertető
The piano wasn't Simon Nardis's hobby. It was much more than a hobby. The piano was for him what painting was for Ingres. He stopped playing the way Ingres would have stopped painting. It would lave been a pity in Ingres' case. It was a pity in Simon Nardis's case.
After his desertion he took up his old career again. The pretext was that he had to eat. Have somewhere to live, to wash up. In the sense of whitewashing. The most important thing was to be well behaved. Jazz doesn't exactly encourage people to be well behaved. Simon Nardis was a jazz pianist. Forgotten, lost sight of, erased from the world. We find him here, today, on the eve of a long weekend.
