PREFACE
For many years now profound changes have been taking place in British life and all those institutions which once were an integral part of it have, of necessity, disappeared, or changed, or are this very moment in the process of change.
This book sets out to record, as far as possible, these changes and to give at the same time a faithful picture of BRITAIN TODAY.
