Six Weeks from Now
et's begin at the end. At the end of the next six weeks, how do you see yourself? Take a moment and visualize it.
Here's what I think you see: a slimmer and healthier you, with tighter muscles, a flatter stomach, a greater glow of energy, and a feeling of empowerment. I think you see an image of change.
If you did, good. Helping people change is my business, and my passion.
It's exciting for me to work with people who really want to change. My company, Holistic Fitness, works primarily with movie stars, rock stars, and high-octane executives—the kind of people who love change, and demand results.
Many other, less committed people, I'm certain, buy fitness books and join health clubs for a very different reason: to keep from feeling guilty. They just want to go through the motions, without breaking a sweat. It makes them feel good just to own a fitness book, or to belong to a gym.
These people do not really want to change. For them, it's just too much trouble.
What makes me think you're not one of them? Because I know you could have found a less realistic fitness book. There are all kinds of hokey books out there that say all you need to do is work out three times a week for ten minutes to look fabulous. You could have picked one of those.
