It is always such an illuminating journey to look back at my work and share all that I have learned. Design is a process that nourishes and talks to all the senses and is as much about practicality and beauty as it is psychology: design is never just about what you see; it is about what you feel. I can think of nothing worse than a space that is without either the physical feeling or mental sense of comfort. That i still learn so readily amazes me, and the subtlety of the process is as surprising as it is delightful. My curiosity and determination to experiment, create and try for ever more have never been so pronounced, and the body of work in this book is an illustration of that.
