It wasn't easy. Particularly as some of them went for whole food groups (thanks guys) instead of single ingredients. But no problem, I just got into the kitchen and got a bit creative. You'll see the book's got 8 chapters - one for each mate and their ingredient of choice.That's tomatoes from Jess, cheese from Henry, pasta from Ariyo, vegetables from Joe, meat from Andy, potatoes from Liv, sweet stuff from Verity. First off - the shopping. Nope it doesn't grow in carriers. Food shopping means you get to visit some great markets, shops, delis, farm shops - even the supermarket. Do it. Get out there. Talk to the people who've grown the stuff or made it. You want to know as far as possible where your food has come from and how it's been produced. Keep it real. You want it to be good if you're going to swallow it. Cooking gives you power in loads of ways. It's a great way to be independent -
